ASU in Georgia OL Bryson Estes top 5

Georgia 2021 offensive lineman Bryson Estes includes Arizona State in his top 5 schools. Estes had thirty offers and narrowed it down to his top 5: Arizona State, Nebraska, Florida State, Missouri and Penn State. The 6 foot 3 inch 291 lineman is a strong run blocker and can continue to help the offense get their running game going which took a step backwards last season. Estes a three- star out of McDonough, Georgia according to 247Sports, is the 8th best center in the nation and the 41st player overall in Georgia . Estes is versatile enough to play center, either guard position and right tackle at the next level. The Sun Devil offensive line definitely needs the help to protect QB Jayden Daniels and continue to create gaps for the running back. Last season, the running game took a step back and needs to bounce back this season.

It has been offensive line coach Kevin Mawae and graduate assistant Adam Breneman that have been recruiting the Georgia prospect and Estes told 247Sports this about Arizona State University,

“I talked to Coach Kevin Mawae, he is their offensive line coach. He is a Hall of Fam offensive lineman, so that is big for me in their recruiting. Also, Herm Edwards is their head coach which is big for me, a well known head coach. Pretty much all of their staff is NFL coaches or recent NFL players. They have a loaded staff. I really like the idea of being surrounded by so many coaches with NFL experience.”

I spoke with DevilsDigest.com publisher Hod Rabino about the needs for offensive line and he told me, " Offensive line recruiting is the sore spot in Arizona State's overall effort ... it's just May and December is 7 months away, but in this recruiting cycle and in the pandemic we are seeing a lot of recruits jumping on board already whether it’s at ASU or other programs." 

Only time will tell if the he will leave Georgia for the desert, but until then, one this is true he has been hitting the gym hard according to his social media.
