FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas received a bit of good news this afternoon.

Shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday, freshman defensive back Jaylon Braxton tweeted out a highlight video accompanied by an announcement that he will be returning to the Razorbacks in 2024.

Braxton had a breakout season after eventually forcing himself into the starting line-up. He managed 21 tackles, an interception a forced fumble. His strip and score for a 33-yard touchdown early against Florida turned out to be the difference in the Razorbacks getting their only SEC win of the season.

This time last season, Braxton, a former Lone Star Ranger out of Frisco, Texas was preparing to sign as the highest rated recruit in Sam Pittman's 2023 recruiting class.

Cryptic Tweet by Rocket Sanders

There are plenty of people wondering what the future of running back Raheim "Rocket" Sanders will be. That mystery will continue following a tweet from Sanders Thursday afternoon featuring a Bible verse.

The verse referenced is an Old Testament verse that reads "But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul." While there's plenty of good information there, none of it provides any clarity on whether Sanders will go to the NFL draft, stay put at Arkansas or transfer.

However, it does sound like he will have a good adviser on his decision whichever way he goes.
