Razorbacks Get Second Receiver Back in as Many Days
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Just one day after Arkansas fans received word that the 2023 Andrew Armstrong would return next season, The second-leading receiver, Isaac TeSlaa will also return as a super-senior.
TeSlaa came into the season with lofty expectations after transferring from Division II Hillsdale College. He had accumulated 2,023 yards in the previous two seasons with 19 touchdowns. TeSlaa faced an increased level of competition in the SEC combined with a poor passing offense that finished with just 187.5 yards passing per game (third worst in the SEC).
As a result, his production cratered to just 34 catches for 351 yards and just two touchdowns. It remains to be seen how both Armstrong and TeSlaa will be utilized in the new-look Bobby Petrino offense. With both TeSlaa and Armstrong coming back, the Hogs are just waiting on speedster Isaiah Sategna to make his decision on whether or not he will enter the transfer portal.
