Auburn Signee Jalyn Crawford Making Noise At Under Armour

It's one thing to be a highly-regarded football recruit. For Jalyn Crawford, that's already something he's accustomed to. Recruited by numerous programs across the United States, he's heading to the Plains after playing for Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview.
Now that he's also competing at the Under Armour All-America practices, the Peach State prospect is earning the chance to be ranked even higher.
First off, Donald Cox is has compliments about Crawford. Asking the Under Armour defensive backs coach about the future Auburn cornerback, he had a direct comment that catches one's attention.
"He's really smart. Crawford figures it out."
Does he apply the techniques you teach him immediately?
"Yes!"
There's also the competitive nature of Crawford's abilities, too. Fellow Auburn signee Cam Coleman is going to make big-time plays and he certainly won battles versus Crawford and about every other defensive back he's gone against. He's a special talent.

Crawford's length and physical skill certainly help to make a spectacular interception. His technique and competitive nature also come into play whenever he's making highlights.
6-feet tall, and about 180 pounds, Crawford battles on every rep. It's been obvious during the entirety of the Under Armour practices. He's competing against the nation's best and he's one of the nation's best. He's proving that. Below is a video reel of Crawford during defensive back drills:
When the final rankings come out that include the performances from the Under Armour All-America practices and game, look for Crawford to be a player that sees his stock rise via the recruiting services. He's earning it.
