Johni Broome Makes Dick Vitale's All Rolls Royce Team

The ESPN Announcer placed Broome on the first team.

Auburn Basketball's Johni Broome has been chosen as a first team selection on Dick Vitale's 2023-24 All Rolls Royce Team.

The ESPN college basketball announcer has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for cancer on his vocal chords, but he took time out this week to put out his All Rolls Royce Team. Joining Broome on the first team are Northwestern's Boo Bule, Marquette's Tyler Kolek, Zach Edey of Purdue and Armando Bacot from North Carolina.

Broome had an impressive debut season for the Tigers last year, as he led the team in scoring (14.2 ppg) rebounding (8.4 ppg) and blocked shots (2.4ppg). After the season he entered his name in the NBA Draft and had a breakout week in the NBA G-League Elite Camp, which earned him an invite to the NBA Combine. Broome withdrew his name from the draft on Memorial Day, deciding to return to Auburn to improve his draft stock.

Auburn opens the season November 7 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota against the Baylor Bears.
