Take a look at one of Auburn's five-star freshman on the practice field for spring ball

The future is bright for the 2024 recruiting class.

Spring practice is finally here, and on Tuesday, the media got a viewing window to look at many things, including some of the newcomers.

One player that stood out just based on sheer size was five-star true freshman wide receiver, Cam Coleman. It was well known that Coleman is a massive human being, but seeing him next to players who have been in college for years was crazy. The scary part is it looks like he still has some room to add more muscle to his already massive frame.

While recruiting stars and rankings don't always mean everything, seeing what Coleman did in high school and in all of the All-American games he attended made it clear he will be a star for Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers.

Cooper Petagna of 247Sports had this to say about Coleman in his scouting report of the talented five-star wideout, "Projects as an immediate contributor at the next level and a potential Day-1 NFL Draft choice with a rare combination of size, speed, and athleticism that differentiates him from the rest of his peers."

Starting as a freshman in college football is difficult now adding in the fact that this is the SEC makes it twice as hard, but Coleman is more than capable. Looking at him on the practice field, he looks nothing like a player who just got done with his senior season.

Coleman projects to work his way into the starting lineup and could end the long drought of a 1,000-yard season from an Auburn receiver.

Let's take a look at Coleman in uniform at spring practice.
