UC-Tulane Opens As Slimmest Bearcats Spread In 2022-23 Season

Bookmakers expect the AAC clash to be tight.

CINCINNATI — UC basketball is facing its tightest spread of the season on a road trip to face Tulane. Cincinnati opened as a 1.5-point underdog and is now a two-point dog on SI Sportsbook.

Cincinnati has not been favored or labeled an underdog by less than three points on either side this season. It's expected to be a tight matchup and very high scoring.

The 153-point total is the second-highest for a UC game this season, just behind the loss to Arizona, which cruised to the over. Overs are 5-2 this season in UC games with a total of at least 148 points.

Cincinnati is now tied for the sixth-best against the spread record in college basketball this season (16-7). They are 4-1 ATS in their past five games.

Meanwhile, Tulane has struggled to a 10-12 record against the number.

The game is available on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
