Cincinnati Bearcats Basketball Lands Commitment From USC Center

CINCINNATI —  The modern college basketball recruiting mantra is holding true for Cincinnati after they missed out on Arrinten Page in the 2023 class. On3's Joe Tipton reported the news.

The former USC star is rolling with Cincinnati as his new college home in the transfer portal. The 6-11, 220-pound center was a four-star, top-60 prospect that had UC in his final group in high school. Now, he's continuing his career in Clifton.

Page should fill into the frontcourt rotation nicely after averaging 3.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10 minutes per game as a freshman. Page gives Cincinnati a nice bridge to the next era of big men after Aziz Bandaogo leaves in 2025.

Page does most of his damage near the rim as a savvy cutter and space creator inside. He rolls hard to the rim off of screens and in transition. He should fit in as a gritty, tough player with the possibility of a deep shot (31.2% on 16 shots). Unlocking that jumper could be key to playing him and Bandaogo together throughout the Big 12 slate. He did shoot 57% on corner threes to go with a nasty 3.4% block rate.
