Another FSU Basketball Forward Sets Visit For ACC School
The former Seminole could be matching up with his old program as soon as next season if he remains in the ACC.
Florida State forward De'Ante Green has set a visit with fellow ACC member Boston College on April 15th, per The Portal Report on X. The sophomore was one of FSU's first entries into the portal soon after it opened and averaged 4.5 PPG and 1.7 RPG while starting 20 games for the Seminoles this season.
This is Green's first visit of the transfer cycle since his entry to the portal. Boston College is the first known program to have an interest in Green (not that there haven't been any others, they just haven't been made public). He becomes the second FSU forward to plan a visit to an ACC school, as it was announced Cam Corhen will be visiting Pittsburgh April 12-14.

Green signed with Florida State in the 2022 class, but his initial development was hampered by a torn ACL midway through his senior season of high school. He spent his freshman season in Tallahassee rehabbing it and playing limited minutes as he continued to build strength in his knee. He was never supposed to be a center as he came into Tallahassee at 6'9", but the knee injury limited his mobility and he was essentially forced to play down low.
He can stretch the floor with a smooth jumpshot and plays with fire and passion that few players at FSU have had in recent memory, but his playing time started to run out as Corhen returned from his toe injury. Green ended up as a DNP-Coach's Decision in two of the last three games of the season and hadn't played double-digit minutes since February 6th.
