Former Florida State star Fabien Lovett, Sr. became a staple for the FSU defensive line during his time in Tallahassee as a solid interior run defender and leader in the locker room. After transferring from Mississippi State alongside Jarrian Jones in 2020, he appeared in 39 games for the Garnet and Gold helping construct one of the most coveted defensive lines in the country.
Lovett has now moved on, looking to take his game to the next phase at the NFL level, and could find himself in the AFC West defending rushing attacks against the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Erick Trickle of SI.com's Mile High Huddle has projected the 6'4'', 314-pound Mississippi native as an option to land with the Denver Broncos to shore up an interior defensive line that includes Malcolm Roach and Zach Allen. Lovett's draft profile grades him as an average starter at 6.20, but measurements haven't been the only thing he brings to a locker room looking to bolster its defensive line. The All-ACC honorable mention and two-time Bobby Bowden Leadership Award Recipient brings a quiet but strong presence to those around him. His draft profile has compared him to another former Seminole, Falcons defensive lineman Eddie Goldman.
During his time in Tallahassee, he recorded 74 tackles, five sacks, a forced fumble, and four pass deflections. Taking on double teams for opposing linemen, Lovett was key in freeing up potential first-rounder Jared Verse in the rushing attack. He is listed as the No. 80 prospect on the big board in the 2024 NFL Draft.
