The College Football regular season may still be months away, but fans can still catch a handful of former Bulldogs on the gridiron this weekend.
The United Football League (UFL) will kick off its inaugural season this Saturday, March 30th, and will feature a handful of Bulldogs amongst three different teams. Amongst those Bulldogs are some notable names such as cornerback Deandre Baker and defensive end Davin Bellamy who both play for the DC Defenders.
During their time at Georgia, both Baker and Bellamy were integral parts of the Bulldogs’ defense and were a part of the Bulldogs’ historic 2017 roster which saw Georgia win its first SEC title in 12 seasons and compete for a national title.
