Georgia EDGE C.J. Madden Enters the Transfer Portal

EDGE C.J. Madden has become the latest Georgia player to announce his intention to enter the NCAA transfer portal on the first day of the December transfer window.
A former four-star prospect in Georgia's 2022 signing class, Madden was unable to claim a role in Georgia's rotation at EDGE during his time in Athens and enters the transfer portal looking to find increased opportunities for playing time. The arrival of three top-100 EDGE prospects from Georgia's 2023 recruiting class created more competition at the position and one of those freshmen, Damon Wilson, passed Madden on the depth chart late in the 2023 season.
