Another 2024 Georgia Tech target is off the board.

After hosting three-star linebacker/safety Jashad Presley on his official visit in Atlanta last weekend, Presley decided to stay home and play for the UCF Knights. Presley plays at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando and held other offers from Kentucky, Maryland, and Pitt.

Georgia Tech had a good month of recruiting in June, rising in the top 25 of both Rivals and 247Sports recruiting rankings. In the past couple of days, however, they have missed out on a couple of targets.

Four-star offensive tackle Ziron Brown chose Stanford this week not long after naming his top five schools that included Georgia Tech. Presley is another Georgia Tech target to commit elsewhere this week.

There are still targets on the board for Georgia Tech to try and close on this summer and into the fall, but Presley would have been a nice addition to the defense.

Two more Georgia Tech targets have their commitment dates set. Four-star tight end Kylan Fox will announce on July 4th, four-star cornerback Troy Stevenson is set to announce on July 9th, and three-star defensive back Christian Pritchett is set to announce his decision on July 10th.

Georgia Tech is currently ranked 15th nationally in the Rivals recruiting rankings and 22nd on 247Sports.
