Ahriahna Grizzle 'Has The Sizzle' For A Third Straight SWAC Player Of The Week Honor
In three consecutive weeks, Florida A&M star guard Ahriahna Grizzle has the sizzle being named the SWAC Player of the Week by carving up her defenders. In wins against Southern and Prairie View, Grizzle averaged 29 points, 3.5 steals, and 3 assists.
She's the Lady Rattlers' leading scorer, averaging 19.7 points per contest and tops the team with steals at 2.5 per game.
Grizzle has firmly placed herself in not only the SWAC Player of the Year, but also the 2023-24 HBCU Women's Basketball's Player of the Year conversation.

The SWAC selected Texas Southern's guard Jordyn Turner as its Impact Player of the Week. Turner recorded "two double-doubles, including a season-high 24 points and ten rebounds against FAMU on 11 of 15 shooting from the field." She notched 18 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists in a 75-65 victory over Bethune Cookman.
