Iowa State finished with higher yards per play than Northern Iowa, but still managed to total just 250 yards in total offense. It’s also worth mentioning that Iowa State got seven of their 30 points via a pick-six in their win.
On the other side of the ball, both defenses performed well, as the lone touchdown for both Utah State and Northern Iowa was scored in the 4th quarter.
