Kansas Jayhawks move up in both polls

The Kansas Jayhawks used an undefeated week and a big win over the Duke Blue Devils to move up in both of the polls, taking advantage of some losses by teams ahead of them.
Last week, the Jayhawks dropped in the AP Poll but stayed steady in the Coaches Poll, entering the week as a consensus Top 10 team. A win over the ranked Duke Blue Devils in the Champions Classic and a narrow escape from the Southern Utah Thunderbirds at home was enough to let them move up to #3 after Gonzaga, Baylor and Kentucky all lost.
The top 4 is the same in both polls, with North Carolina, Houston and Texas joined Kansas in the top four spots. Also like last week, the top 10 in both of the major polls are comprised of the same teams, but in different orders. In the AP Poll, Virginia comes in at fifth, followed by Gonzaga, Baylor, Duke, Arkansas and Creighton. In the Coaches Poll, it is Gonzaga at fifth, followed by Virginia, Baylor, Creighton, Arkansas and Duke.
Only one other Big 12 teams is in the polls outside of the Top 10, with Texas Tech coming in at 21 in the AP Poll and 20 in the Coaches Poll. TCU dropped out of the rankings, but is still towards the top of the "Others receiving votes" category. West Virginia also appeared on a few ballots.
With tournaments under way this week, there are only two games between two teams ranked in the Top 25 currently on the schedule. #21/#20 Texas Tech and #10/#8 Creighton face off on Monday night. #18 Alabama and #12/#15 Michigan State face off on Thursday night. However, every tournament field has multiple ranked teams among the participants, and many more matchups are likely.
The Jayhawks are in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament starting Wednesday this week, which also features Butler, BYU, Dayton, NC State, USC, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Tennessee is the only other ranked team in the field, although Dayton is currently receiving votes.
