The run through the Big 12 Championship Tournament comes to an end today, as the Kansas Jayhawks are set to take on the Texas Longhorns in the finals. The Jayhawks are looking to follow up a regular season title with a tournament title before next week when the NCAA Tournament kicks off.

I'm live at T-Mobile Center to bring you updates throughout the game so make sure to check back frequently. You can also follow live updates on my twitter account.

7:02pm: That's going to do it. Kansas is going to lose this one big, without McCullar or Self. Texas gets two big boosts for their tournament resume.

6:59pm: This has turned into a hockey game. Body checks all over the place with no calls.

6:51pm: Norm Roberts calls timeout as Disu finishes a lob over Harris with one hand. Not what you want to see.

6:48pm: Kansas down 18 to Texas.

6:46pm: Kansas doesn't appear to have given up, but they are quickly running out of time. Dick's three misses, and then Yesufu misses both free throws after being fouled.

6:41pm: At the under 8 timeout, Kansas is down by 14. They look exhausted and just don't have an answer for Texas right now.

6:39pm: Wilson got to the bucket and got fouled, making the free throw. Crowd is trying once again to ignite some defense.

6:37pm: This game is getting VERY physical, as 4 clear fouls have been ignored.

6:33pm: Kansas fans were about to be livid when the refs missed a Cunningham travel, but they called him for three seconds in the lane instead.

The arena is getting loud again.

6:31pm: Jayhawks have stopped the bleeding. Now they need to start scoring.

Down by 10 after an Adams layup.

6:26pm: Texas is getting pretty much whatever they want, and Kansas is settling for threes from Yesufu. The crowd is not happy.

6:24pm: Crowd is getting restless. There are quite a few calls they don't agree with.

6:18pm: No defense from either team to start the second half.

6:16pm: Back underway, and Carr gets a bucket on the first possession

6:03pm: Not a great end to the half for Kansas. Turnovers are a real issue

5:56pm: The crowd has come alive here, as Kansas has clawed back within striking distance.

5:50pm: Udeh is bringing a LOT of energy, but he is getting too aggressive in his help defense. Carr gets another drive into the lane, and Yesufu is called for the foul.

5:46pm: It's been an uneven performance so far, as Kansas locks down on some possessions, but then we see stuff like that where the defender doesn't even stick a hand up.

5:41pm: To the point of the tweet below, KU has looked a lot better with Udeh on the floor, and his hustle has been amazing on the perimeter.

5:39pm: Neither team looking spectacular right now, with plenty of mistakes.  Kansas has 4 turnovers and Texas has 4 points off of them. The Jayhawks have not been able to take advantage of turnovers yet.

5:37pm: Rice over Rice!  MJ gets a three to put the Jayhawks into the lead.

5:34pm: Yesufu gets a break and Wilson hits a three to take back over that scoring lead.

5:31pm: A big three from Yesufu, and he has joined Wilson in leading the scoring for the Jayhawks.

5:28p: Udeh got very unlucky.  3-second call, pushed with no call, then his man gets a layup.

5:26pm: Kansas is more aggressive inside, but Texas is on a 7-0 run right now.

5:21pm: The Jayhawks have really tightened up defensively, with a good challenge by KJ.  Unfortunately, the outside shot has picked up a bit.

5:18pm: Lots of action in the first 4 minutes. Kansas is not out to the same hot start we saw yesterday:

5:00pm: Lots of notes to get us started.
