The Kansas Jayhawks Volleyball team has wrapped up non-conference play with a 10-2 record, including 8 three-set sweeps and a win over a ranked team in the Utah Utes. Up first in the conference slate is a home match against the Texas Longhorns.

The Texas Longhorns are 8-0 and ranked #1 in the country, a spot they have held since August 29th. The Jayhawks are the first team in the "Receiving Votes" category, and have been ranked as high as #19 this season.

The Longhorns lead the series 48-5, inviting a 21-4 record in Lawrence. The Jayhawks last won a match in this series in Lawrence on October 10, 2018.

Key Kansas Players

Sophomore Caroline Bien leads the Jayhawks in total kills with 119. She has tallied double digits kills in seven of the 12 matches played this season. Her season-high (16) came twice, against No. 22 Utah and UNLV. 

Bien has had double-doubles twice this season: against Wichita State (11 kills, 10 digs) and UCF (10 kills and 11 digs. 

Sophomore Camryn Turner needs just one more assist to hit 400 for the season. 399 assists in the season. 

Redshirt freshman Ayah Elnady is second in kills on the team with 110.

Graduate transfer Lauren Dooley leads the Big 12 (4th nationally) in hitting percentage, at .451. Super-senior Rachel Langs is 9th in the Big 12 (105th nationally) in the same category at .348.
