Georgia Two-Way Recruit Richard Planning March Miami Visit
CARROLLTON, Ga. -- College football programs want Clinton Richard on board, regardless of position. He told All Hurricanes' Brian Smith half of his scholarship offers are along the offensive line and the others are to play defense in college.
Either way, the Hiram (Ga.) High School rising-senior recruit, listed at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds, is among the most coveted in the Peach State. He says programs throughout the ACC, like Georgia Tech, Florida State, North Carolina and Wake Forest have his attention.
Ditto for Miami, as a trip to Coral Gables for the month of March appears to be in the works.
"Coach (Alex) Mirabal, he wants me to come with my coach down there in March," Richard said.
While trips to UM, Ole Miss, FSU and others are likely for next month, Richard says no dates have yet been set for any of the unofficial visits.
The Miami offer has been in for Richard since last May.
The rising-senior appears to be taking his time with the college football recruiting process, admittedly not considering official visit destinations at this time.
As for the overall timeline, though, there is an end in theoretical sight. Ideally, Richard says he would like to decide on his collegiate home by end of the summer or close to the start of the 2023 season.
