What to Know and How to Watch: Mississippi State Baseball vs. No. 2 LSU, Game 2
Mississippi State baseball (24-24, 6-19) has reached the tail-end of a largely disappointing 2023 season as the Bulldogs prepare to continue a tough weekend series against the No. 2-ranked LSU Tigers (39-10, 17-7).
MSU dropped the first contest of the three-game series in ugly fashion, falling 12-1 as the Tigers recorded a run-rule victory in Alex Box Stadium. On Saturday evening in Baton Rouge, the Bulldogs will aim to avoid being swept yet again by another SEC opponent.
The Bulldogs are now on a seven-game losing streak after being swept by both the No. 6-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks and the No. 24-ranked Tennessee Volunteers.
