
Where Mississippi State Softball is Ranked After Week 9
It appeared as though another bump in the rankings was inevitable for the Bulldogs after the first three wins of the week, but the result of this past Sunday's game altered that reality.
The Mississippi State softball team continued its success from Week 8 with a dominant 14-0 victory over UAB in a run-ruling five innings on April 3.
Additionally, the then-No. 16 Bulldogs defeated the then-No. 22 South Carolina Gamecocks in each of the first two matchups of the series by a combined score of 10-0. However, Mississippi State couldn't finish the week strong as it fell to South Carolina 3-1 in the final game of the series.
