• The Mizzou offense finished with a single-season program first; a 3,000-yard passer (Brady Cook), a 1,500-yard rusher (Cody Schrader) and a 1,000-yard receiver (Luther Burden).
• Schrader’s 128 yards gave him the Missouri single-season rushing record with 1,627 yards.
• The 14 points scored by Missouri tied for the fewest in a Tigers bowl victory (1962 Bluebonnet Bowl; 14-10 vs. Georgia Tech). It was also the first time Mizzou had been held scoreless in the first half under head coach Eli Drinkwitz.
• JC Carlies led the defense in total tackles with 11 total tackles, including one for a loss and a sack. Triston Newson followed with 10 tackles of his own, and racked up 2.5 tackles-for- loss. The Tigers finished with 10 tackles-for-loss, eight QB hurries, four sacks and two forced fumbles. The Buckeyes went 0-for-8 on third downs during the first half.
