• Men's basketball blocked 12 shots, setting a new program record. The Tigers had blocked 11 shots three previous times, most recently against Arkansas-Pine Bluff in 2015.
• Forward Michael Porter Jr, was 9-for-16 from the field, and 5-for-9 for 3-point range to score 25 points, but the Nuggets lost to the Magic 124-119.
• Guard Dru Smith got into the Heat's 129-96 win over the Cavaliers. His stat line: One minute played, one foul.
