Mizzou Guard Sean East II Competing in NABC All-Star Game
Missouri men's basketball guard Sean East II finished the season fifth in the SEC with 17.6 points per game and seventh with 4.0 assists per game.
Missouri men's basketball guard Sean East II was selected to the 2024 NABC Reese's Division I All-Star Game, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced on Tuesday.
East is set to represent the Tigers on the national stage, as he joins some of the top senior talent from across the country.
East was one of the few bright spots in Mizzou's rough season as he ranked fifth in the SEC with 17.6 points per game and seventh with 4.0 assists per game. His 17.6 points are the most by a Tiger in 10 seasons, while also becoming just the sixth player in school history to average at least 15 points and four assists.
East is the only SEC player selected for the All-Star game and will feature for the West Team, coached by Steve Lavin of San Diego. He is the second-straight Tiger to earn an invite after D'Moi Hodge competed last season.
The All-Star game will take place on Friday, April 5 at 5:30 p.m. CT at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix as part of Reese's Final Four Friday. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
