UT-Martin Transfer Jacob Crews Commits to Missouri

Dennis Gates and Missouri basketball kicked off their offseason with the addition of UT-Martin guard Jacob Crews.
Crews experienced a breakout season, averaging 19.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists on 48.5% shooting. Crews boasted the second-best three-point percentage of the conference behind Morehead State's Kalil Thomas.
The former Skyhawk entered the portal on March 11 and immediately was flooded with calls from coaches. He received interest from Kansas State, UCLA, Kansas, Gonzaga, Arkansas, Illinois and Oklahoma among others, per Joe Tipton.
After a challenging past season for the Tigers, their first addition comes with one of the best players in the transfer portal as things stand. According to On3's portal rankings, Crews ranks as the No. 8 player in the portal.
Crews averaged 19.9 points per game last season at Daytona State and previously averaged 2.6 at North Florida during the 2021-22 season.
It's too early to say, but it's hard to think that the Tigers are done in the transfer portal. They've reached out to multiple transfers to this date with the portal only open for a couple days.
