De'Zhaun Stribling, Others OUT Against Kansas State
The Oklahoma State Cowboys will be shorthanded against the Kansas State Wildcats on Friday night. According to Dave Hunziker of the Cowboys radio, De'Zhaun Stribling suffered an injury in practice last week and will be out against Kansas State.
According to Ashton Slaughter, Stribling broke his left wrist during practice.
Among the other inactive is Lyrik Rawls, who had leg surgery this week, along with Davis Dotson and Justin Wright.
Stribling is the Cowboys' second-leading yardage receiver, with 198 receiving yards on the season, accompanied by 14 receptions and one touchdown. In a game where the Wildcats will put up plenty of points, the Cowboys' skill players will be a focal point in trying to keep this game close.
Rawls' replacement will likely be Cameron Epps, who started a couple of weeks ago against Iowa State, racking up ten total tackles.
It'll be interesting to see what impact Brennan Presley can make, as he was expected to play as WR1 this season, though, statistically, he's been the third-best wide receiver with 98 yards on 15 receptions. He does, however, have two touchdowns on the season.
The Cowboys are entering a Friday night battle against a team that's going to run the ball over and over, so it'll be up to the Cowboys' now shorthanded offense to keep up with the Wildcats.
