Final: Oklahoma State 27, Iowa State 34

Ollie Gordon finishes with 121 yards on 18 carries as Alan Bowman adds 278 yards in the air, completing 23 of his 48 passes, throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions. 

Iowa State's offense looked much improved from the past few weeks, and Rocco Becht completed 27 of his 38 passes for 348 passing yards and three touchdowns.

1:20 -- Alan Bowman throws an interception on 4th & 10 to end the game. The Cowboys fall short of the Cyclones 34-27

2:46 -- The Cyclones chewed the clock and the Cowboys eventually got the ball back. They capitalized with a touchdown, but it took time off the clock. They now trail 34-27 and the defense has the potential to come up with a huge stop. Alan Bowman connected with Rashod Owens for a 20-yard touchdown in the air.

13:04 -- After a run for no gain, incompletion and 17-yard sack, Alan Bowman and the Cowboys' offense were forced off the field in a crucial drive.

Third Quarter: 14:54 -- The Cyclones cap off a three-minute drive with a rushing touchdown. Their offense continues to look improved, taking a 34-20 lead.

2:55 -- Oklahoma State kicks a field goal after its drive stalled. They trail the Cyclones 27-20. The next drive will be huge if they can get a stop.

5:30 -- Rocco Becht dices up Oklahoma State's defense to find Daniel Jackson for a 26-yard passing touchdown. Iowa State jumps to a 27-17 lead over Oklahoma State.

6:15 -- After forcing Iowa State into a punt, Oklahoma State rushed Ollie Gordon three straight times for a three-and-out.

11:17 -- Interception! Oklahoma State began driving down the field before Alan Bowman was picked off for the second time this season.

Third Quarter: 13:43 --The Cowboys begin the half by stopping the Cyclones' offense. Alan Bowman and the Cowboys have a chance to tie the game or take a lead now.

Halftime: Oklahoma State 17, Iowa State 20

Iowa State looks much improved offensively, putting up 258 offensive yards, mostly in the air, while putting up 20 first-half points. The Cowboys were thankful to get a couple of explosive drives to result in two touchdowns. 

Alan Bowman finished the first half with 118 yards while completing nine of his 18 pass attempts. The final drive helped his efficiency, as the run game was the focal point of the offense prior.

The defense is struggling to defend against the air attack from Iowa State, as this game is going the opposite of how everyone expected.

0:00 -- The Cowboys finish the half with a field goal as time expires to cut the deficit 20-17.

0:43 -- Oklahoma State holds the Cyclones to just a field goal after a 56-yard drive. Iowa State leads 20-14.

6:20 -- Oklahoma State punts the ball back to Iowa State, their fourth punt of this matchup.

7:12 -- Iowa State drives to the Oklahoma State 33-yard line before settling for a field goal on 4th & 13. Iowa State leads 17-14.

11:01 -- Oklahoma State gets another huge play as Alan Bowman finds Jaden Nixon for a 60-yard passing touchdown. The Cowboys squared things off 14-14

12:55 -- Two big Rocco Becht passes lead to a 29-yard passing touchdown to Daniel Jackson. Iowa State leads 14-7.

Second Quarter: 14:12 -- Oklahoma State three-and-out as the passing game can't get going early in this one. Iowa State gets the ball back with a chance to get the lead.

1:09 -- After a couple of explosive drives from both teams, Oklahoma State's drive fizzles out and they punted back to Iowa State.

3:23 -- On 4th & 3, Rocco Becht finds Jaylin Noel for a 38-yard touchdown in the air. Iowa State ties Oklahoma State 7-7.

5:40 -- A 71-yard Ollie Gordon run sets up an easy 12-yard rush from Alan Bowman. PAT is GOOD and the Cowboys jump to a 7-0 lead.

6:42 -- Fourth drive, fourth punt. Iowa State gives the ball back to Oklahoma State. Short run, two incomplete passes. One of these teams ought to break through soon offensively. 

8:13 -- Oklahoma State punts after another three-and-out. Two deep Alan Bowman missed shots and a short run led to the result.

9:23 -- Iowa State finds two first downs in the air, but ultimately comes up short, punting the ball back to Oklahoma State.

First Quarter: 13:14 -- Three straight Ollie Gordon touches leads to a three-and-out. Oklahoma State punts to Iowa State. 

Pre-game: WR De'Zhaun Stribling should be good to go after going through pre-game warmups. S Lyrik Rawls was not seen in pre-game warmups according to The Oklahoman's Scott Wright.
