The Oklahoma State Cowboys have now stacked three straight wins together after they took down the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday. While the win didn't carry the Cowboys into the AP Top 25 rankings, it did help them continue building momentum on their season.

Now, with Week 8 being a thing of the past, the opening odds have opened for the next Cowboys contest. They're 7-point favorites over the Cincinnati Bearcats for the Week 9 matchup. They'll play in Boone Pickens Stadium at 7 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN. To double down on the night game environment, it will be homecoming in Stillwater.

The Cowboys are taking on the Bearcats, who have lost each of their last five outings this season. This will act as a huge opportunity for the Cowboys to pick up their fourth win in a row. There's a reason they're touchdown favorites. This is the first time since Week 3 that the Cowboys have been favorites, which makes their recent win streak that much more impressive.

For the Cowboys, there's no reason they can't take care of business on Saturday night. They're riding a hot streak, and the Bearcats are a mere 0-4 in conference play, which follows up a bad loss to Miami of Ohio.

Watching how the Cowboys manage this homecoming game will be interesting. One would assume it'll be yet another huge Ollie Gordon game and the defense will have an opportunity to show up and show out.

Taking care of business and getting the win is huge as the Cowboys can take even more momentum into the final bedlam, which is the matchup that follows up this Week 9 matchup.

It'll be good for the Cowboys to enter a game as a favorite, though their approach and energy to start the game needs to remain the same.
