Top PFF Grades: Oklahoma State vs. Kansas State

Who graded the highest on PFF for Oklahoma State in their matchup against Kansas State?

The Oklahoma State Cowboys upset Kansas State in their second Big 12 matchup on Friday night with help from big nights by Ollie Gordon, Cameron Epps, Alan Bowman and Nick Martin.

So, who had the best Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades for the Cowboys?

Alan Bowman, 80.0 offensive grade. Bowman completed 19 of his 35 passes for 235 yards, easily his best passing game since transferring to Oklahoma State this season, despite not having found the end zone through the air. He rushed on five different occasions for 14 yards but often picked up timely gains to extend drives.

Ollie Gordon, 76.3 offensive grade. The Oklahoma State run game is much more established. Gordon is getting the proper amount of touches and he's making defenses pay with it. Gordon finished with 136 yards on 21 carries with one touchdown run. Gordon looked like a player of absolutely carrying this team's offense for quite some time.

Nickolas Martin, 81.2 defensive grade. Arguably the best player for the Cowboys in the huge win, Martin did just about everything possible in the stat sheet while making his presence more than felt while on the field. Martin tallied 17 total tackles, one sack, 2.5 tackles for loss and one timely interception. Martin, who wasn't a full-time starter to start the season, has absolutely proven his value at the position this season.

Cameron Epps, 72.3 defensive grade. While Martin might have had the best game, Epps' was certainly the more memorable one. With just five tackles, Epps might have had the loudest game, most of which was in the first half. Epps had his first interception, which began turning momentum in favor of the Cowboys, but he ended the first half with a pick-six which put the team in the driver's seat.
