Two Oklahoma State Football Transfers Officially Sign With Program
The Oklahoma State Cowboys have had a successful December. They played in the Big 12 Championship Game before signing 17 players to their 2024 recruiting class later in the month. Both of those things show some signs of encouragement for the future of the program.
On top of that, though, the Cowboys also signed two transfer players, as the team announced on Friday. Former Arizona State offensive lineman Isaia Glass and former UTEP defensive back Kobe Hylton are both officially members of the Oklahoma State program now.
There are still some lingering offers to transfer portal players, but both of the program's portal commitments are now signed.
"I think that visit had a big part in it," Glass told All Pokes after his commitment. "Seeing how the coaches are and being a part of a winning culture. Just being somewhere where winning is just regular. Just having that stability, those were main game changers."
Glass mentioned he had a previous relationship with the program, as they heavily recruited him out of high school. On top of that, his visit was a success, which led to his commitment and eventual signing with Oklahoma State.
Hylton, like Glass, is excited to get to work as a Cowboy.
“It's like a family feel,” Hylton told All Pokes. “Two of my [junior college] coaches are on that staff. They pushed in the word for me. Everybody on staff is just fired up to have me.”
Both players are adding to a veteran team looking to gear up for another run at the Big 12 title after falling short in the championship game against Texas this year. Adding the 17 recruits to the program on top of a veteran roster is a recipe for extended success, and the Cowboys seem to be building a positive culture around the football program.
