WATCH: Cameron Epps Scores Timely Pick Six With Second Interception

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have playing like they've got something to prove in the first half against Kansas State.

Heading into their matchup against Kansas State, Oklahoma State hadn't forced many turnovers and none that were incredibly timely or game-changing. That changed tonight.

With Lyrik Rawls out for the second game in a row as he underwent surgery, Cameron Epps, once again, got the start at safety. Not, it appears it's his spot to keep.

Epps had a huge interception early in the game after the Cowboys went up 7-0 on the Wildcats, then the defense was busted by a 70-yard gain from Will Howard. The Cowboys then got a stop afterward and took a 13-7 lead late in the half.

Cue a second Epps interception, but this time a pick-six to extend the Cowboys lead to a 13-point game, with a score of 20-7.

For a young player who was converted to safety from a cornerback, learning the 3-3-5 system brought in by Bryan Nardo, Epps has quickly impressed. His two timely plays have kept the Cowboys in the driver's seat of this game after coming in with their backs against the wall.

Aside from Howard's 70-yard run, the Cowboys defense has looked incredible, with the team's offense backing them up and moving the ball while eating up some clock.
