These two squads met last month in Oxford, and the Rebels squeezed out a 79-76 win at the SJB Pavilion. Ironically, that is also the most recent win for Chris Beard's team, and it came on Feb. 17.
Ole Miss' NCAA Tournament chances are in dire straits, but even so, wins can go a long way in establishing momentum for the upcoming SEC Tournament. The Tigers have also yet to win an SEC game this season, so if the Rebels want to turn things around, this is as good an opportunity as any.
