Ole Miss Rebels Land Commitment From Three-Star WR Dillon Alfred
The Ole Miss Rebels continued their momentum in the 2025 recruiting class on Tuesday afternoon with the commitment of wideout Dillon Alfred.
The Ole Miss Rebels secured another big-time commitment in the 2025 class on Tuesday afternoon, landing a pledge from Saraland (Ala.) High School wide receiver Dillon Alfred.
Alfred made the news official on social media by sharing a post you can view here.
A three-star prospect per On3 (and the top wideout in Alabama), Alfred is originally from Gautier, Miss., where he attended high school prior to his junior season. His sophomore season at Gautier was a big one, seeing him eclipse 1,000 receiving yards and 15 scores while averaging 21 yards per reception. He was also on campus this week in Oxford prior to his commitment.

Alongside the Rebels, Alfred was also pursued by other SEC programs, namely the Missouri Tigers, Tennessee Volunteers, Arkansas Razorbacks and Auburn Tigers. His commitment marks a continuation of Ole Miss' work in the 2025 class, already holding pledges from running back Akylin Dear (Quitman, Miss.), defender Talib Graham (Daphne, Ala.) and linebacker Corey Amos (Opelousas, La.) in this cycle.
The Rebels have plenty to brag about in their wide receiver pedigree leading up to Alfred's pledge. Not only has Ole Miss produced noteworthy NFL wideouts like A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf, but it was also the only SEC program to have three receivers with more than 700 yards last season.
