In-State DL Jeffery Rush Officially Joins Rebels on Early Signing Day

The Ole Miss Rebels have officially landed in-state defensive lineman Jeffery Rush, receiving his NLI on Wednesday.
The Pascagoula (Miss.) High School native has an industry four-star ranking, according to On3, and he committed to the Rebels in March of this year over programs such as Mississippi State, Auburn and Texas.

According to that same database, Rush is rated as the No. 27 defensive lineman nationally in the 2024 class and the No. 8 player overall in the state of Mississippi. Among all players in the nation, he comes in at No. 254.
Rush helped pilot his Pascagoula Panthers to an 8-4 record in 2023, and he will join what appears to be a stout defensive front for Ole Miss next season. The Rebels have secured multiple targets out of the transfer portal along the defensive line, including some of the top names from Power Five programs this month.
