Where Oregon Quarterback Bo Nix Ranks in Week 1 Heisman Odds

Analysis: McCarthy enters 2023 after helping the Wolverines reach their second straight college football playoff.

He threw for 2,719 yards and 22 touchdowns against 5 interceptions a season ago and Michigan should have another solid wide receiver room, led by Roman Wilson and Cornelius Johnson.

Analysis: Maye is one of the best quarterbacks in college football and is viewed by many as the No. 2 quarterback prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft class. He has one of the strongest arms you'll find and his dual-threat skill set will keep the Tarheels in the mix for an ACC title.

Analysis: Nix looked like a brand new quarterback last season after transferring from Auburn. He helped lead the Ducks to a 10-win season under Dan Lanning and is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the country. 

He too has a deep group of versatile pass catchers to throw to and we'll see if he can carry over his success to 2023 under new offensive coordinator Will Stein.

Analysis: Penix Jr. lit the college football world on fire when he had a strong bounce back season in Seattle after transferring from Indiana. The Huskies have one of the best wide receiver corps in the country and the lefty is one of the more efficient passers in the country.

Analysis: Hartman kicked off the 2023 season with a strong 250-yard, 4-touchdown performance in a 42-3 win over Navy in week 1. The Wake Forest transfer hopes to help Marcus Freeman reach 10 wins and improve on a a 9-4 mark from a season ago.

Analysis: Klubnik led the Tigers to wins in eight of his ten appearances last year after taking over for DJ Uiagalelei. His poise and playmaking ability have made him a fun watch and the Tigers hope he can take his game to another level under new offensive coordinator Garrett Riley. 

Analysis: Travis established himself as a premier quarterback under Mike Norvell last year in Tallahassee. The Seminoles are as loaded a team as you'll find this year and Keon Coleman joins Johnny Wilson in what should be a dangerous offense.

Analysis: Ewers has a lot of pressure to perform in 2023 in his second season with Steve Sarkisian. Fortunately for him he has one of the most electric wide receivers in the country to throw to in Xavier Worthy. 

Analysis: Daniels didn't have much trouble adjusting to the SEC after transferring in from Arizona State last season. He's always fun to watch and helped LSU earn some big wins last year.

Analysis: It's no surprise to see the reigning Heisman Trophy winner listed at No. 1. Williams helped lead the Trojans to a 56-28 win over San Jose State to start the season and in many cases it feels like you're playing a video game when you watch Williams operate Lincoln Riley's offense.
