Miami Missing Starting G Against Pitt

The Pitt Panthers will face a Miami team down a starting guard.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers caught another break with injury luck as they travel down to Miami, Florida to take on the Hurricanes at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables.

As the Panthers look to extend their winning streak to three games in a row, they'll get to face a Miami team that's missing starting guard Mattew Cleveland, a talented transfer from rival Florida State, according to a report from Michelle Kauffman of the Miami Herald.

Cleveland is the Hurricanes' second-leading scorer at 14.8 points per game. He's averaging 5.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game and making 37.7% of his 3-pointers this season. He has started all 19 games for the Hurricanes this season.

Freshman guard Keyshawn George - averaging 7.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while making 42% of his 3-pointers - stepped into the starting lineup
