Pitt Basketball Loses Wing to Transfer Portal

The Pitt wing leaves after two seasons with the Panthers.

PITTSBURGH -- Pitt wing Ithiel Horton has entered the transfer portal after playing two seasons with the Panthers.

Horton missed time this season due to off-the-court legal troubles. He was reinstated and started eight games for Pitt this season. He scored more than ten points just six times this season with his best performance coming against Florida State when he hit seven threes and finished with 25 points.

Horton started his college career at Delaware before transferring to Pitt. He spent three seasons with the Panthers, playing in two due to transfer rules.

He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The Panthers now have six scholarship spots available.
