Pitt F Scores Career-High Against Jacksonville

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers rolled over Jacksonville, 107-56, to win their fourth straight game to begin the year, their longest season-opening winning streak since 2018, when they started 6-0 in Jeff Capel's first season as head coach.
In the process of decimating Jacksonville, Pitt forward Guillermo Diaz Graham set a new career high in points, racking up 23 points on 8-10 shooting from the field to go along with 10 rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals. That marks the first double-double of his college career as well.
Diaz Graham surpassed his previous high watermark with a free throw at the 3:34 mark of the second half.
He's been one of the players to take a major step forward over the offseason for Panthers, adding more than 20 pounds to his tall, wiry frame to help him defensively and on the glass. He's been solid off the bench for Capel's club so far this year, averaging 6.3 points on 60% shooting from the field and 44% from 3-point range along with 4.3 rebounds per game.
