Former Pitt LB Cam Bright Signs with Seattle Seahawks

PITTSBURGH -- The 2021 ACC Champion Pitt Panthers is continuing to bear NFL talent. Three first round picks have already come from that team and even more contributors to that record-breaking team have been drafted and signed with NFL teams. Linebacker Cam Bright is one of those players. He signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks.
Bright spent five years at Pitt before transferring to Washington, where he played out his final year of college eligibility as a Huskie. Bright was named a captain, played in all 14 games and started in eight during the 2021 season. He saw the field immediately and quickly made an impact, recording 50 or more tackles in each of his five seasons with the Panthers.
At Washington, Bright was once again voted a team captain and started all 13 games the Huskies played. He was the team's third-leading tackler with 60 and earned Pac 12 Honorable Mention honors from the conference and third-team All-Pac 12 honors from Phil Steele.
