Former Pitt WR Jordan Addison Picks Vikings Jersey Number

Jordan Addison will wear the same number he won a Biletnikoff Award in for the Pitt Panthers.

PITTSBURGH -- Jordan Addison became the third player from the Pitt Panthers' 2021 ACC Championship team to be taken in the first round of the NFL Draft over the weekend, when the Minnesota Vikings selected him with 23rd overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Addison is in the middle of making himself at home in Minnesota and part of that meant picking the new number he'll wear in the NFL. He stuck with something comfortable - the same No. 3 that marked his jersey in high school and college.

Addison capped his time with the Panthers with a masterful 2021, Biletnikoff Award-winning campaign in 2021. Combining with Heisman Finalist quarterback Kenny Pickett, he hauled in 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns. He transfered to USC following his record-breaking season and accounted for 908 total yards and eight total touchdowns with the Trojans.
