LOOK: NFL and CFL legend Warren Moon raves about Stanford visit, father of 2025 ATH Ryken Moon

Warren Moon has accomplished a feat in football that no one else has, and may never do again as he is in both the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

After going undrafted in the 1978 NFL Draft, Moon took his talents to the CFL where he won five Gray Cups in six years. He then finally got his deserved shot in the NFL with the Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers and went on to make nine Pro Bowls and lead the league in passing in two different years. In 2006, Moon became the first undrafted and first black quarterback to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The football icon is now taking on another challenge, which is to help his son navigate his own recruiting process. Ryken Moon is a three-star running back/defensive back out of Bellevue, Washington. Based on a tweet from his father, the Moon family was on Stanford's campus recently and appeared to love the visit.

"Outstanding visit today to the beautiful Stanford University campus with my son Ryken. Toured the campus, athletic complex, Sat in meetings, and met with coaches. Fantastic visit!" tweeted Moon.

Moon holds four offers from Arizona, Army, Navy and Nevada and is someone who can play either side at the next level with recruiting insider Brandon Huffman saying he projects him as a safety but wouldn't be shocked if he plays receiver or running back.

While he doesn't have a Stanford offer yet, he may be someone that the staff continues to target further. The Cardinal are rebuilding at every position, and could use someone as dynamic as Moon.
