Perhaps Syracuse basketball's top target in the 2021 class, four star wing Benny Williams, has cut his list to four schools. They include, in no particular order, Georgetown, Maryland, Miami and Syracuse. He announced the decision in a Tweet Thursday afternoon.

Williams has taken an official and unofficial visit to Syracuse, the only school to receive an official on his list. He has taken an unofficial visit to Georgetown and Maryland. His official visit to Syracuse was back in February when the Orange faced Duke in the Carrier Dome.

"It was good," Williams said after the visit. "The game was really good. I've never seen anything like the atmosphere in the Dome."

He broke down each of the four schools on his list with 247Sports Evan Daniels as follows:

Georgetown: “How interested they are in me and how much effort they put into time. Coach Pat [Ewing] really likes my skill set and versatility."

Maryland: “Coach [Mark Turgeon] talks to me every single day. We talk about stuff other than basketball, which is really cool. We talks about shows and stuff. He wants me to come in and be an impact player right away.”

Miami: “I’m going to do a Zoom call with them this week. Coach [Jim Larrañaga] really likes my skill set and what I can do, my versatility and he thinks you can do everything. I just need to tighten up your handle.”

Syracuse: “I went up there for an official and an unofficial, coach Red [Autry] just tells me we are going to put in a lot of work to get me to the next level and a lot of individual work.”
