The Texas A&M Aggies football program continues to attempt to make improvements to its offense for the 2024 season. A&M currently holds the 17th nationally ranked class and the 10th ranked class in the SEC.

On Saturday, Texas A&M offered 2024 tight end Jordan Washington, who paid an unofficial visit to College Station over the weekend.

Washington is the No. 28 tight end prospect and No. 71 prospect in Texas, and reports are he's leaning toward committing to the Texas Longhorns. But it's possible his visit to Aggieland over the weekend could influence his decision.

While playing for Langham Creek High School (Houston, TX) Washington was named to the Texas District 16-6A First Team during his junior season last year, which led to more than 15 offers from top schools.

The 6-4, 210-pound native of Houston, Texas excels in the passing game but is also an excellent blocker. Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher likes his tight ends, and currently has options at the position for 2023 and beyond.

Washington could fit into the plans of Fisher and A&M for 2024 if he decides Aggieland will be his new home.
