Lonestar Showdown in March? ESPN's Bracketology has Texas vs. Texas A&M Battle in NCAA Tournament
Texas A&M (14-8, 5-4 SEC) continues to impress with a commendable win streak in SEC play. Their latest victory came on the road against the Missouri Tigers, where they secured a convincing 79-60 win, fueled by Tyrece Radford's impressive 22-point performance.
Just days before, Radford showcased his scoring prowess with 26 points in a thrilling 67-66 triumph over the Florida Gators.
With less than a month remaining in the regular season, ESPN's Joe Lunardi unveiled his latest bracket update on Thursday, signaling a shift for A&M from the "First Four Byes" section into the main field.
And according to Lunardi, the Aggies would be the No. 10 seed facing off against the No. 7 seed Texas Longhorns in the Charlotte region.

That said, there is still a long way to get to that point and reignite the classic rivalry.
As Texas A&M finds itself tied for fifth in the conference standings, the competition ahead only intensifies, with the sixth-ranked Tennessee Volunteers set to visit College Station for a highly anticipated Saturday night showdown at the nearly sold-out Reed Arena.
Despite seeding projections ranging from as high as eight to as low as 11, the Aggies still have ample opportunities for quality wins, with several Quad 1 matchups on the horizon, starting with the clash against the Volunteers.
The next challenge for the Aggies comes as the 6th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers journey to College Station for a Saturday night matchup. The game is scheduled to be televised on ESPN at 7:00 p.m. CT.
