Men's Basketball: Top 25 Players in the Big 12 for the 2023-24 Season

The junior big man led the Cougars in scoring and rebounds last season. Look for him to be the number one option for Mark Pope.

As a top 20 recruit in the country, Jackson will make an instant impact for the Jayhawks.

Returning for his fourth year, Thompson led Oklahoma State in scoring and assists last season. He will be the go-to guy for the Cowboys this year. 

The five-star recruit is the highest-ranked recruit in the modern era for Iowa State men's basketball. Biliew has a chance to be one of the best freshmen in the country.

The Delaware transfer comes to TCU after finishing 17th in scoring for all college basketball last season. Nelson Jr. will help fill a lot of the void left by Mike Miles Jr.

After averaging 10.6 points last season for the Jayhawks, look for Adams to take on a bigger role this season alongside Hunter Dickinson.

Kriisa comes to West Virginia after being one of the faces of Arizona for the past couple of seasons. The guard is one of the best passers and villains in college basketball.

Isaacs returns to Tech for his sophomore campaign as their highest returning scorer. He can lead the Red Raiders this season as their top-scoring option.

Tomlin is the highest returning scorer and rebounder from the Wildcat's Elite Eight run. He will help take over the scoring lost from Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson.

Edwards comes to West Virginia after averaging a double-double last season at Syracuse. The fifth-year senior has a good chance to lead the conference in rebounding and be a force for the Mountaineers.

The Toledo transfer comes to Baylor after averaging 19.5 points per game last season. He will start for a Scott Drew team that has been very favorable to guards in years past.

Roberts enters his senior season for the Cougars after leading them in rebounds and blocks last season. He is a very efficient interior player on both sides of the ball.

Entering his fifth college season, Disu will get the opportunity to be the premier big man for the Longhorns. He will look to build off a stellar conference tournament last year in which he led Texas in points and rebounds on the way to a Big 12 championship.

Bridges averaged the most points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks last season of any returning Baylor player. He has a real shot to break out for his senior campaign.

Kaluma started every game on a Creighton team last year that went to the Elite Eight. He will start for the Wildcats and play a role similar to Keyontae Johnson. 

Hunter started every game in a backcourt last year that featured Marcus Carr and Sir'Jabari Rice. Look for him to take a step forward to help fuel one of the best backcourts in the country.

The incoming freshman is a consensus five-star and number one recruit in Texas. He will be an instant top contributor for the Bears, similar to Keyonte George last year.

McCullar Jr. enters his fifth year in the Big 12 and returns the most scoring and rebounding from last year's Kansas team. He will be a force.

Shead averaged the highest points, assists, and steals last year of any returning Houston player. The senior is an elite two-way player for the Cougars.

Miller returns to the Frogs for his fifth college basketball season as their highest returning scorer and rebounder. With the departures of Damion Baugh and Mike Miles Jr., he could see opportunities as TCU's go-to guy.

After three seasons at Baylor, one of the nation's best shooters will help lead the Cougars. The All Big-12 member will join Jamal Shead as arguably the best backcourt in the Big-12.

Harris led the Jayhawks in assists and steals last season as one of the nation's best true point guards. The two-year starter for Kansas has a great chance to lead the conference in assists in his senior season.

The North Texas transfer will start for the Wildcats at point guard. As one of the best scorers in the conference, he will play in a Jerome Tang system that allows him to flourish, like Markquis Nowell last year.

The four-year starter at Oral Roberts comes to Texas after finishing ninth in the nation in scoring last season. As one of the best guards in the nation, he adds a whole different dimension to the Longhorn's offense.

Dickinson is probably the best transfer in college basketball history. The former All-American comes to the Jayhawks from Michigan and is a serious contender for Naismith College Player of the Year.
