Tomorrow is the big day. A life-changing day for many college football players. After a long, exhausting stretch of workouts, interviews, rumors, and more, it is time for the big part. The actual process of selection.

In the midst of one of the more intriguing recent QB classes is Hendon Hooker. Among guys like Bryce Young, Will Levis, and Anthony Richardson stands the man who stood under center for the majority of last season in Knoxville. Hendon is unlike the other guys in a few ways, however.

For starters, he is coming off of a torn ACL. Second of all, Hooker is 25 years old. If selected in the first round, as many expect, he would be the oldest selection on the opening night since Brandon Weeden. However, it seems as if the aura and perception around Hooker are positive inside NFL circles. One insider believes that Hooker will not make it past the Commander's No. 16 selection.

Another insider, Ari Meirov, stated that the teams that have brought Hendon in for visits have been "blown away" by him and that many see him as a potential franchise leader. Hooker's leadership qualities are well documented, especially by guys like Joe Milton III, who Hooker continued to mentor and support even after his devastating injury.

Teams that Hendon has visited with include the Colts, Raiders, Bucs, and Saints. With many QB-needy teams and five marquee QB prospects, many will be waiting with bated breath to see where Hendon winds up, including himself and his family. As we are now, one sleeps away from the draft night; the answer is near. Will Hendon Hooker become a franchise guy? We will know soon enough.
