Tennessee's Spring Game To Have Limited Seating

The Tennessee Volunteers will have limited capacity at their spring game due to stadium renovations.

The Tennessee Volunteers are one of the more interesting squads heading into the 2023 college football season. Most analysts have them hovering around the fringe of the 12-team College Football Playoff, a projection that could slightly fluctuate depending on the performance of quarterback Nico Iamaleava.

Tennessee fans will first glimpse the 2024 squad on April 13 when they suit up for the annual orange and white spring game. The game will air on SEC Network+, and due to construction at Neyland Stadium, capacity is set at 10,000. It'll be the second consecutive spring game that fans will get to watch a new starting quarterback take the reigns.

This will likely be the only time in 2024 that Neyland Stadium won't be filled with fans from far and wide. There's a lot of anticipation around Iamaleava, especially considering the NCAA investigation into his recruitment. Iamaleava made many fans with an impressive outing against the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, and he'll have to continue stacking impressive performances to get the Vols where they want to go.
