2025 five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. (Charlotte, N.C.) visited the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend ahead of another trip.

Providence Day School offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. is the highest-ranked player remaining on the market. Sanders ranks as the No. 2 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, and is down to Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He visited the Vols this past weekend and will return for their spring game this weekend.

Sanders got to spend time with Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and offensive line coach Glen Elarbee during his most recent visit. His mother, Samantha Sanders, caught up with On3 after their trip and had positive things to say. Sanders will make his final unofficial visit with the Vols before officially visiting six programs this summer. There's much competition between every program involved, and the Vols are in the top group.

"We had a great time in Knoxville! It was a quick turnaround but overall we enjoyed ourselves. David hasn’t had an opportunity to see an actual practice, so it was important we saw the team in action prior to official visits." Samantha Sanders to On3's Steve Wiltfong
