The Texas Longhorns are one win away from the Final Four.
AUSTIN -- The No. 1 seed Texas Longhorns will look to punch their ticket to the Final Four for the fourth time ever when they play the No. 3 North Carolina State Wolfpack at the Moda Center in Portland on Sunday afternoon in the Elite Eight.
Texas (33-4) easily took down Gonzaga in a 69-47 win on Friday night behind Aaliyah Moore, who flirted with a triple-double by finishing with 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Shaylee Gonzales added 15 points while playing all 40 minutes.

“I am so proud of this group and their effort, their intensity, their focus, their intentionality defensively,” Texas coach Vic Schaefer said after the win. “ … For those of you that haven’t seen us play before, that’s pretty much been the standard the last two months.”
The Wolfpack (30-6) are fresh off a 77-67 upset win over No. 2 seed Stanford on Friday. N.C. State got a game-high 29 points from guard Aziaha James in the win.
