Tonight is the third Monday Night Football doubleheader of the NFL season, the first with simultaneous kickoffs.

■ 8: Titans (+14) at Dolphins, ESPN. Chris Fowler, Louis Riddick, Dan Orlovsky, Laura Rutledge.

■ 8: Packers (-6) at Giants, ABC. Jo Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters.

Disney televised MNF doubleheaders with staggered kickoffs in Weeks 2 and 3.

The NFL's reasoning for tonight's simultaneous doubleheader: Trying to "transform a Sunday afternoon environment into a prime time window."

ESPN2 will air the "ManningCast," offering viewers the ability to watch both games with Peyton and Eli commenting.

Viewership for the "ManningCast" has fallen off recently with some fans agitated that the show continues to bring on celebrity guests rather than having the former quarterbacks break down the game.

Kirk Herbstreit tweeted after Saturday's GameDay for the Army-Navy game in Foxboro... a TV critic agrees:

"We had 2 moments today at the Army/Navy @CollegeGameDay near the end of the show that to me, really nailed why I’m so proud to be part this show.

We had a feature on Steve Dwyer Jr who died on a Blackhawk training exercise with 4 other soldiers. His Dad Steve Sr talked about his son-his life-what made him special and how difficult his loss has been for he and his family. Jen Lada did an amazing job on that feature and tagged it w/ a soldier playing taps live and we faded into black. Moving moment for all who watched.

Then at the end of the show we had Bill Belichick on as our celebrity picker-to watch he and LC talk Navy football and to hear how impactful those years were on BB as a youngster w/ his Dad Steve as an assistant during those years so incredible to see. And THEN he makes his pick and pulls a Lee Corso-putting on an old Navy helmet as he picks to Navy to win!! Coach Belichick is t doing THAT anywhere else-just surreal!

2 segments from opposite ends of the spectrum could not have been played off any better!

Love this show! Grateful to be part of it."
